Mount Snow Resort in the Town of Dover, Vermont is home to many year round activities.
WINTER
It's most popular season is winter and skiing and riding at
Mount Snow. Mount Snow
also offers a tubing park as well as the only all mountain face terrain park, Carinthia.
Other winter sports are also popular in the area including snowshoeing in the many
hiking trails of the Green Mountain Forest, cross country skiing at Timber Creek with a
large groomed trail system, an extensive network of snowmobiling trails and snowmobile tours. We also have
sleigh rides, horse
riding, museums, an historic downtown village with plenty shopping, dozens of great
restaurants and much more.
SPRING
This forgotten season can be a great time to enjoy Vermont. The hustle and bustle of
the winter is over so things are nice and quiet. On a warm spring day, you can go for
a walk or take a drive and almost see the surroundings come to life. The green of plants
and trees bursting at their seams in excitement for the warm weather and the longer days.
SUMMER
The summers here are fabulous. The Green Mountains are alive, the evenings cool
and there are so many ways to take advantage including hiking, mountain biking,
horseriding, drives or just relaxing and taking it in. We are home to 2 championship
golf course and the largest lake within the borders
of Vermont is located less than 10 miles away where you can enjoy picnic areas,
boating, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and anything a large lake can
provide.
FALL
This is a spectacular time of year in our area. The colors abound with deep reds, golds,
mixed in with greens and yellows. The chill in the air contains the excitement of the
season turning. Hiking and long drives are a wonderful way to take in the views.
